This hunting lease is leased and not available. This Halifax County North Carolina hunting lease consists of 2 tracts about 1 mile from each other. Both tracts have fields that are usually planted in row crops each year. In 2018 they were planted in corn. The timber is very similar on both properties. They contain a mixture of pines and hardwoods including some nice white oaks. I found plenty of fresh sign on both tracts along the edges of the standing corn. I also found fresh turkey sign on the 30 acre tract. A camper could be setup on the 15 acre tract (near the old cemetery) ATV use is acceptable for hunting purposes only.
